TESTIMONIALS

"When our laboratory’s workload increased, it became clear that spreadsheets and manual forms were no longer a sustainable solution. We needed a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that was customizable, scalable, and capable of supporting the full scope of our operations. After evaluating options, we selected VADDS by VetStar.

Our Diagnostic Lab encompasses hematology, chemistry, cytology, PCR, parasitology, urinalysis, serology, and microbiology. VADDS provided the flexibility to accommodate reporting in all of these areas. Working in collaboration with VetStar’s team, we successfully transitioned our processes into VADDS and introduced new efficiencies. Manual result entry was greatly reduced with automated and semi-automated integrations from instruments such as the Trek Sensititre and Zoetis Fuse.

VADDS has also allowed us to expand services, particularly for our external clients, through the Client Web Portal. Clients can now submit case requisitions for both individual patients and herd submissions. They also benefit from direct access to results and simplified statement generation.

Over the past three years, we have expanded VADDS across our department, with four laboratories—iagnostics, Pathology, Histology, and soon Anatomy—becoming fully operational in the system. This integration has streamlined workflows, improved sample flow, and enhanced coordination between labs."
